    Hosted by Sierra Vista Child & Family Services. Morning Keynote Speaker: DeVone Boggan. Advance Peace, Founder & Chief Executive Officer. DeVone Boggan has an extensive background as a provider of technical assistance and training for mentoring and youth development practitioners. He has extensive expertise and a passion for training and motivating mentors and has trained more than 25,000 mentors nationwide. DeVone is also the founder and CEO of Advance Peace. Lunch Speaker: Emmanuel Escamilla. CodeX, Founder. Emmanuel Escamilla grew up on Olivero Road in South Modesto which has been infamously called "the Devil's Street". Now, a graduate student at Harvard University, Emmanuel wishes to give back to his Modesto community which is why he founded CodeX, an education nonprofit which exposes low-income middle school students to computer science and technology through summer and after-school programs.

  2. Crab Cioppino Dinner & Dance

    The Modesto Portuguese Pentecost Association will hold its annual crab cioppino dinner-dance. Dinner (4-9 pm) includes all-you-can-eat delicious crab cioppino, salad, bread, wine, soda, coffee included. The dance, with DJ The Sound Man, runs from 8 pm-12:00 am.

    The Commemorative Air Force Central CA. Valley Squadron is holding its annual crab feed at its historic hangar. Start off the evening with appetizers then enjoy an all you can eat CRAB dinner with hot garlic bread, salad, pasta and dessert. Steaks available when preordered at the time of ticket purchase. No host bar, Oral auction, Silent Auctions, Raffles and much more. Tickets on sale now, sells out every year so buy early, All funds and proceeds benefit the Central CA. Valley Squadron, a non-profit historical organization.
